SHIPPING POLICY

Thank you for choosing Elite PTAC LLC. This Shipping Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding the shipment and delivery of refurbished PTAC units, parts, and related equipment purchased from Elite PTAC.
Shipping Areas
Elite PTAC ships throughout the continental United States. Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other locations may require special arrangements and additional shipping charges.
Processing Time
Most orders are processed within 2–5 business days after payment has been received and cleared.
Large quantity orders, custom refurbishments, special orders, and warranty replacements may require additional processing time. Customers will be notified if extended lead times apply.
Freight Shipments
Most PTAC units are shipped via commercial freight carriers.
Because PTAC units are large and heavy, customers must provide:
- A valid delivery address
- Contact information for delivery scheduling
- Information regarding loading dock availability
- Information regarding forklift or unloading equipment availability
Additional charges may apply for residential deliveries, liftgate service, limited access locations, or re-delivery requests.
Delivery Times
Estimated transit times vary by location, carrier availability, weather conditions, and other factors beyond Elite PTAC's control.
Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Elite PTAC is not responsible for delays caused by freight carriers, weather events, labor disruptions, acts of God, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers must inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.
Before signing the delivery receipt:
- Inspect packaging for visible damage.
- Verify the shipment quantity.
- Note any damage or shortages on the carrier's delivery receipt.
- Take photographs of any visible damage.
Failure to document shipping damage at the time of delivery may affect the ability to file a freight claim.
Freight Damage Claims
Once a shipment leaves Elite PTAC's facility, ownership and risk of loss transfer to the purchaser upon delivery by the carrier.
If freight damage occurs:
- Note all damage on the delivery receipt.
- Take photographs of the shipment and packaging.
- Notify Elite PTAC within 48 hours of delivery.
- Retain all packaging materials for inspection.
Elite PTAC will assist customers with freight damage claims when possible but cannot guarantee claim approval by the carrier.
Shipping Charges
Shipping costs are calculated based on:
- Delivery location
- Shipment size and weight
- Number of units ordered
- Freight carrier rates
- Additional services requested
Shipping charges are non-refundable once the shipment has been dispatched.
Missed Deliveries and Storage Fees
Customers are responsible for accepting delivery when scheduled by the carrier.
Any storage fees, re-delivery charges, detention fees, or additional freight costs resulting from missed appointments or customer delays are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Order Accuracy
Customers are responsible for verifying:
- Unit specifications
- Voltage requirements
- BTU capacity
- Electrical requirements
- Quantity ordered
- Shipping address accuracy
Elite PTAC is not responsible for costs associated with ordering incorrect equipment specifications.
